Hello loyal friends and followers. My Pink Blackberry Pearl has been through a lot, and as of early this week, it has finally come to rest in peace. Its operating system went down once again, and this time it was not repairable. I had no choice but to pull the plug (the battery really) and let it go to a better place. A place where it does not get bombarded with hundreds of work emails a day or Spanish speaking mis-dialers.
As a result, I have picked-up a temporary stand-in: a beat up Red Blackberry World Edition. It's as large as my hand, no joke. Even more sadly, it is not equipped with a camera. As a result, this moblog with have to go on a hiatus, until my contract ends in June and I can either wait in hopes for a better Verizon phone or bite the bullet and switch to crappy AT&T for an iPhone. That is to be determined. What is for certain is that at that time, I will be back to capturing extraordinary glimpses from my ordinary life.

it's a sad sad day for us all...i'm rooting for the iphone for obvious reasons
two words: iPhone. I'm will make it a mission to find a spare Verizon phone with a camera somewhere. Someone we know must have one.

Get the droid. Don't go to AT&T, it's horrible. We tried it for a few months and decided to pay the penalty for breaking our contract and went back to Verizon.
the droid is pretty sweet, but i would still deal with poor reception in certain areas for the functionality of the iPhone.
